Bond It Dec Mate Flexible Filler is an easy-to-use acrylic decorators caulk that provides a smooth, flexible and durable finish on interior repair work. Once applied, the filler skins quickly and can be over-painted shortly after, making it perfect for completing decorating tasks efficiently.

Its advanced formula offers strong adhesion to a wide range of surfaces including wood, plaster, brick, concrete and plasterboard. This makes it ideal for filling cracks, gaps around skirting boards, ceiling lines, door frames, window frames and general interior joints that experience slight movement.

The filler requires no primer on most surfaces and provides a clean, professional finish that blends seamlessly once painted. It is suitable for both DIY projects and professional decorating.

Surface Preparation

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, sound and free from dust, oil, loose particles or contaminants that may affect adhesion. Degreasing with a suitable solvent such as acetone may be used where required. Priming is not normally necessary, although some concrete surfaces may benefit from additional preparation.

Application Instructions

Cut the cartridge tip and nozzle at a 45 degree angle to match the width of the gap being filled. Apply with a caulking gun and smooth immediately for the best finish. Allow sufficient drying time before painting. Not suitable for exterior use during wet weather or where temperatures fall below +5°C.
